	Right, started out like this retrorides.proboards86.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1175338105&page=1#1175419344 Plasticorange/pete, knew a mate who was clearing out a house where the chap had become Ill with MS. He had this alfa kit car project thing that he'd been working on, and it was due for the tip! Now I'd completely missed this thread, as I was trying to make constructive use of my weekend, which included helping twigzy, who told me he'd put me forward for this old thing! twigzy said: reanimation is popping round in a bit, ill convince him he needs it, lol Got home late had a look, thought that looks cool its gott be done! sent a message to PO/P, he says its too late! so I plead, without checking where it is! Next day PO/P calls me in the car says he can sort it if I defo want it, "Yeah Yeah, Great i'm defo interested!" Kinda committed myself then, and Twigzy!! "where is it?" "Dundee" "Right" No idea where Dundee was sat in my drive, sheepishly checked on multimap while hiding from OH, who was gonna be feeding me Pedegree Chum if she found out! 295 Miles! arrrgh! OOoops! Informed the OH I was helping Twigzy on bank hol monday, with a give away grin I was trying to hide. :-I Told Twigzy the bad/good news ---- So the trip is as per the video, lashed all I had on Diesel, made us some buttys and scoobies and did one! whats that coming over the hill? went well really, Cheers Twigzy, I owe you... --- Now what to do? I love its Buggyalike qualities, thats what i'd love to do with it, it would also double up as an awesome fast tracking vehicle But its got me in the dog house a bit, I wouldnt mind but the GF was convinced we were going to meet some hookers, so I thought the truth would not hurt! She seems ok, but I will need to make some sales its all Ooop in the air, plus turns out my mom wants to put me in dog house too for stuff at heres and my sis pulled her face a bit! so I guess we will see if it will start (apparently it did) then go from there, I bet it will make for an incredible ride! so I'm gonna try keep it! .... So right now I only know, what it was and thats still where my knowledge ends I'm spent

	zOMG!! That's some real dedication to the cause there! Interesting looking car, should be good, guess it's all a matter of prioritising now.... And probably buying Ms Reanimation a bunch of flowers or something! ;D

	Yeah, i'd planned treats, and non car show day outs before I broke the news, she's Ok with it but will agree with what you said about priorities Jonny! 'Project Conveyor Belt' just got more complicated, but i'm on the case, just need to make a few sacrifices... theres space for a part 2 to this video BTW, i'll try have a go at that when am back at tea time...

	RESTECP to ya re-an, thats an ambitious project alright! they're quite an attractive car those I think, I wonder how many actually got finished? I have tried looking on Google but can't find a single pic or nugget of info! I used to have the '1985 KIT CAR GUIDE', it was defo in there

	Thanks xbo11ox , its sitting on the middle-end of my conveyor belt now. I was considering chopping the top off the T bar MR2, but this should make a better buggy/sportster! I don't want to go to town with it, keep it simple. I too couldn't find a bean of info apart from a comment off pistonheads saying theres not any about, based on the info you gave 'milano' etc. Defo Alfetta based though, doors should go straight on, but it will look like an Aussie ute unless door tops are chopped and that hard top goes. Front end offends me a little too. it would immediately look better losing that wooden bumper and glass bumper shape bulge from both ends, but i'd like to do something more drastic. Apparently it did run, it looks/sounds like work was put in to mechanicals, even down to a boot mounted battery and cut off switch, so thats good. hopefully all the complicated bits are where they should be. so i'll see if that alfa forum is back online now, and check out some kit car bodz.

	I've seen one in the kit cars section of ebay not too long ago, that one looked very craply built like, but I think there are a few out there. I bet the number of 'live' examples can be counted on one hand however. I remeber the pic in the kit car guide, when finished and painted in a light metallic colour it looked well classy, believe it or not. That DIY front bumper arrangement looks a bit shiatttt, it should have a simple oval-shaped hole in the style of an E type I think. I would be very cautious of chopping the T bar off! Those alfa shells are only made of tin foil and even have lengths of DIY shop 1" square tube bolted to the floorpans to stiffen them up a bit, straight from the factory! You should check the quality of welding etc where the T-bar is fitted cos I can imagine its super critical.

	Sheesh! I would ponder a re-caging, strategy doing away with that box section and the screen arangement, but again, could still bend the fugger! whats worrying me now is the metal under the fibre glass! best find out where the metal is, looks like the A pillars are still there and hidden from the pics. Then better protect from the elements... Can reinvestigate it when its shifted to its resting place. Thanks again Pete.

	Despite crunching the file size down on this bit, I still had to wait for you tube to deal with it, so here it is, our second inspection: Been watching the donor cars on You Tube and its really got my juices flowing!
