right guys much to the wife disgust i have just purchased this from an elderly neighbour i love it and think its cool what do other people think its a 2.3 manual 240 saloon 70k miles from new one owner from new full service history etc full black leather trim interior is immaculate and even has 12 mths mot to boot so whats peoples views on these cars retro cool or old shed (its not for sale took long enough to get it ) ps its only on my truck as i need to tax it but po shut fail

agreed on the estates thats what i was looking for but they were either really tatty or daft money this for £350 i think was a fair compromise now to decide what to do to it

Being on an F it might just have LH2.4 management. That's a big plus if you want to turbo it, it's the same management as the 940 turbo. You need turbo ECUs but apart from that I think it's all hardware. Which is all rather easy to get. These things are way cool.

yes i have been told that i have a complete volvo 940 turbo as a donor thats been rear ended so should have all i need just need to find a how too

Looks awesome, drop it on wide steels for epic coolness. Yes ^. Its already cool, but lowered a touch and on wide banded steel rims these look really fantastic. If I remember right, some 5-stud Peugeot wheels are suitable for this? It might also look a bit better if retrofitted with the earlier small headlights and grille, but that is just my personal taste. A rear-ended 940 turbo would be a gift from the gods as far as donating its parts for transplanting.

Saloons are cool! Handle great when lowered and are a rarer sight on the roads nowadays.
Always loved mine, can't wait to have it back on the road.
