That is looking lovely, but please tell me those wheels are going?! I like the wheels, but i honestly don't think they work on the car :/ Mine needs the rear arches and rear valence tidying up, as well as some little bits of welding, and of course the engine, but I think it's going the same way as yours; complete nut and bolt! The blue Coupé was my grandads, and has long gone now!

Haha, the wheels are always an issue of discussion... You either love them or hate them. Personally I think they do work. What they have going for them is an open look, easily cleaned, deep beds, simple design. They are slightly more modern then the car though. I've seen many different wheels on a granada, but nothing I was blown away by. These to me are nice. They will get the treatment though! They'll be black with a body colour accent line on the rim. And the central nut may well be body colour as well.
To be honest, it is also one of the last things to spend money on for me... But when I do find the wheels that really wow me, I'll certainly change them over. But I want something different. No BBS, no Cragars, wolfraces of granada/scorpio cosworth wheels... somethinh unique but fitting.

I'm extremely tempted to get my Sport steeles banded, like these... ...and then put my whitewalls on, but I'm not entirely sure yet...we'll see!

Those look great, but mostly because of the car's colour in my opinion. I've never been really impressed with the originals before being widened. That bed does look nice though! They wouldn't suit my build for sure!

I definitely think that's what's happening, i've been quoted ÂŁ200 to get them banded by 2 inches, then i'll be fitting 195/60/14's, and i may be ordering some custom lowering springs... I also started stripping mine today, i'm extremely tempted to fit plain chrome bumpers without the rubber strips and remove all (well, most of) the chrome trim...it's staying in the family, and will never be sold, so there's never the problem of devaluing it from being non-standard...

If you do dechrome the car, and your chrome is in good shape, I'd be interested in the wheel arch trims and the sill trims the front/rear bumper.

My Dad used to have a lime green estate with matching green interior and vinyl roof. Next time I'm around at his, I'll get him to dig a photo or two out. Imagine this one (below) but with the interior in the same colour.
