Beautiful! I'm no beemer expert but E28s are definitely my favourite. Nice colour combo too.

Looks like a smashing find. I used to own a 525e which felt like floating around on a magic carpet over the roughest roads, I loved it.

Thanks guys, yea she's In real good condition and only 83k on the clock, also I've noticed the instrument cluster plays up (speedo/mpg etc) but after a quick research it seems to be very common, so I'm gonna sort that soon. And yea it literally does feel like your floating when driving it!! Very smooth! A few pics I took earlier, needs a wash though!

Pictures can often deceive but that looks like a really really clean car to me. I've owned about 10 e28s and only 1 was as clean looking as yours, nice find. Unusual interior, with the oatmeal leather and chocolate doorcards.

Thanks man, yea it really is clean tbh, apart from a 50p piece paint flake off at the bottom of the bumper on the osr which I need to sort asap before it turns to rust, and a stone chip on the bonnet! The leather is aftermarket, as I have the original brown tweed cloth too, but the previous owner got another interior re trimmed in the oatmeal colour leather

Man please don't mess with this car and leave it like it is and sell it to a BMW nutter who will keep it standard which this car deserves and not made into an unrecognisable piece of curse word....no disrespect but don't ruin a nice car....PLEASE....

That is a gorgeous car that really deserves to be kept and run as is . I'd have bit the sellers hand off if I had been offered it as I'm looking to get one for a low use daily over here . Why don't you sell it to me and get another to "modify " You're very fortunate to have that .

If you want a low mileage decent e28 then go find it, I was searching for a long time to find the car "I" wanted. So go do the same, and please don't tell me I what I should do with "my" car, if you disagree with what I'm doing keep it to yourself! Everyone wants the best possible condition car regardless what they want to do with it

Easy Tiger ..........it's an open forum , if you put your car on here you have to accept what replies are posted , neither of which were rude or offensive I think we were both praising your car and only courteously asking you to reconsider lowering it and "putting it on air " ( ? ) . I guess the wheels you are talking about are period Mahles, later BBS or perhaps Remotecs but all are not a million miles away from the E39/38 items that are on it . It's your car ,and as we said a lovely one at that , so do what you feel and enjoy it but I say again that it would be sad to see it extensively modded.
I'll say no more on it.

It's just the way it come across that's all, and yes by air I mean air bag suspension as in can sit very low but still drive at a practical height etc, and this will be by no means 'extensively modified' just quite low on some period (ish) wheels I.e remotec/fondmetal/rial wheels with some wood interior pieces that's all (as stated!) and I completely agree it's a free forum etc, but as you described as 'modified' doenst mean I want some curse word box example of a car....
