I've decided that once the current daily is sold an old Merc will be bought, thing is, as usual, I don't want it to be 'the norm' I really like the old army look, so i've done a quick 'shop, but made the design a bit more modern. I'm not sure if it works though, your thoughts? Bear in mind, the actual colours would be Nato Green for the whole car and Olive Drab for the design, so a lot duller than i can get in PS! Oh, i'm not a Nazi by the way *Oh, quick thanks to Mark, as i stole his picture*

I find it a bit fussy with the graphics on, love the wheels and red bands but think the graphics are too much. Do them in vinyl that way you can peel them off if you agree.

With the graphics a little lower and a little smaller, I think it would look cool Looks pretty good as it though ;D

Paint it bright yellow and keep the Mooneyes sticker Going to agree with Mitch, not sure about the graphics + be prepared for grief over them. How about some nice ghost flames lacquered over the the Nato?

Something like 'Army Pool Car' or the like on the door would work for me....

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I kinda like it, but lets not have the whole discussion about German cars with Nazi/military insignia again.... I'd put something else less controvercial in the roundel.

So were not a fan of the whole stripes thing then I'd love the patina'd stenciled letters thang going on, summat like this? But obviously in German, though my phrases are limited so i'd end up with 'Which way to the swimming pool'down one side and 'How much for the large fish' on the other!

However a swastiker might be too much I had them on my beetle and no one gave me any grief! What if the vertical stripe was forward on the door, underneath the wing mirror, think that might look better?

Looks good brother... Although I'd say put the bottom stripe lower down. Oh, and translate the German for 'ejector seat' and put it on the p/s door

Oh, and apparently you actually have to advertise your current car before it will sell...

Why not go with a whole Red Baron look? I don't know that I've ever seen it done, I think it could be quite awesome, done well. This one isn't done particularly well, but.. it's an idea ;D
