yup- i could tell all the "regulars" were running low tyre pressures.
one car which stood out for me was a standard looking mondeo ghia- it was jacked up at the back, low at the front, side exit exhaust and "1.8 16V" on the number plate. Didnt sound particularly tuned, and if my mind serves me correct it was running low 15's - I think it was the driver and setup which managed that B)

It did me proud I must admit, ran well and didnt grumble all day. don't have the technology to hand, but heres a type up of my best slip:
Reaction = +1.3451
60ft = 2.8290
330ft = 7.2518
ET @ 594ft = 10.1909
1/8 ET = 10.8448
1/8 MPH = 68.81
1000' ET = 13.8370
1/4 ET = 16.4888
1/4 MPH = 87.38
So, I'm not up on drag jargon either- so have a question. Can I now claim to be a "Low 16's" runner? Its just I believe that if you run, say, a 14.999 you say your running "14 secs" is that right? not really up on it.........
