I vote Ginetta too (the 'GN' in the number plate re-enforces this) , but not sure what model

It could be a Dare, they build the same car under lisence, but use MK2 MX5 headlights. But it's most defo' a Ginetta G4 replica

Very true, wrong way around. The 'NEW' Ginetta (made in Sheffield) models sill use the G4 type shell, but used to use pop-up head lights. But since lighting regs' have changed they had to change. They couldn't use the original 7" lucas headlight as above pick, because Dare own the right to that shell- So Ginetta used the MK5 headlights instead The car in the photo is IS A DARE Ginetta G4

i think i've found out what it is!!!! it appears to be a one off by a guy called Howard Emes (its registered as an EMES) who is a lotus fanatic (he's got an elise and a lotus-sunbeam too) and its possibly based on a spyder eng chassis as it was on the spyder stand at a lotus show, which means its likley to be lotus or ford powered.total kit car did a piece on it but its been deleted from their website.other than its styled to look like a lotus elite type14 i can't tell you any more bout it.
