	Very pleased with the new purchase from Teamslot Untitled Untitled It's going to need a few tweaks before it can be used in anger; there's sprue/flashing on the tyres which makes them foul the chassis and think the axles need some adjustment. But after a bit of attention this should be a rapid little car! Saw the 1:1 scale version of this race at the BHP show at Lydden Hill so was very pleased that they have made it into a slotcar. 	Scalextric Club car arrived today with the 2021 catalogue. Another expensive year ahead for me. A good few movie/tv cars, White Bond Lotus Espirt, KITT and the 60's Batmobile to name a few. A good few Capris and an XJS also.

	My mum has found a load of old Triang Scalextric rubber track which pre-dates the current plastic type - is it worth anything? I remember when I was a kid that it was a bit rubbish as the pieces of track were just held together by the metal joiners. What do you think? Cortinaman

Cortinaman Had a look on fleabay and there is a bit on there, looks like it's going to be worth a great deal. 4 standard straights ranged from £4 to £8. Thought it would have a bit more value than that myself. Could be worth having a look for any cars as some of those might be have a bit a value. Cheers.

	Just having a bit of a dalliance with Scalextric again as I could not resist some of the cheap bundles of old track etc... on FB Marketplace any longer!! I now have 2 1275GT Mini Clubmans and plenty of track to fiddle with... Also, as I live in Margate at the moment it feels right bringing it all back home as it were (I only live 10 minutes away from where Scalextric used to be made)!! I need to figure out a good track to have a bit of fun with...
