	Ok the first step to recovery is to admit the problem. I have a problem (maybe). Limited edition white General Lee arrived today. Had a count and I now have 39 Chargers. 26 from Pioneer,8 from Scalextric,3 from Carrera and 2 from From Revell. Biggest issue is the wife working from home and seeing all the deliveries.

	Has anyone got a dozen or so scalextric rear axle bearings, the white nylon ones, that they’d like to swap for a few beer tokens? I must have had hundreds, and now I actually want some do you think I can find the damn things? Can I £#%*! TIA

	New Resin body project on the go. Series 3 SWB Land Rover with a custom made GRP chassis with four wheel drive and a drop arm guide so I that it can do some slot off roading. I modelling this one inspired by Andrew Willis tow rig.

	Now that's impressive, may I ask how you did it? Also with regards the 4x4 system, did you use a shaft or a twin exit motor?

The body is resin, bought from on the maker through one of the slot car pages on Facebook. I think the mould was taken from a Britain's model then the roof modified to cast better. The 4wd is by a shaft between the two CROWN gears on each axle, the motor sits above the drive shaft, with what would have been a sidewinder gear taking the drive down.

	Kids have been slot car drag racing today to keep them occupied. Rotsun is a modified Scalextric Datsun , 34 fords are Revell clip together kits on old Scalextric chassis as is the Camaro. Viva is an old Airfix body on a metro Scalextric chassis and the Cortina is a resin body off eBay on another metro chassis.

	Hope they look after them! I got the LR finished as much as it's likely it get in the near future. It's got better wheels and tyres now and the interior is in. It'll get a Britain's Farm style tractor diver at some point. I'm not relishing the idea of cutting and individual pane of 'glass' for each window so I might just not. I ran round the cut edges of the trailer with a black marker and that has smartened that up too.

	Here's a final vid of it in action. Having caught something of an off roading bug, the next project it even bigger. The wheels and body of a Tamiya Wild Mini 4WD Monster Beetle are incoming.
