Following the "what do we reckon" thread.......... I went to look at the sierra, it's a 2.0 inj pinto. Body is really good and the engine is sweet. Offered the people £350 and they took it! Signed the V5 and took the key, pick it up tonight ;D Well happy with it let the mods commence......... but what mods? Obviously a massive 60/80mm drop probably on coilovers with some 15's, but what else? any ideas or feedback would be great. The car.... Will post some better pics tomorrow

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Looks tidy! Picking up on Thrasher's suggestion, road legal Lightning Rod look I think, running on some of those Weller steel rims.
But I kind of like it as it is.

as its such a nice example please don't feel the need to "rat" it or "hood ride" it. Its a survivor. Lowered, some nice rims and some grunt under the hood and its there.

Following Akku, AK now seems to found a name for the guys who follow the "rims, slam, engine" philosophy (most of us on here) "Survivors" Next AK will come on here and tell me the history behind a car club already using the Survivors name ;D

Ha Ha @ akku, edit: nice shops mark, what are the bottom wheels, and of those actually come in 4x108? --- yeah i'm liking it as it is, its obvious but some new 15x7's Wellers with 215 and 195 rubber, lowered on decent shocks, might be able to help there... polished to death, maybe a black red piped cossie bumper, or even an XR4 one, and other subtle stuff. great work

No Idea what the wheels are! they were on an orange kadett coupe in another thread a while back. I thaught that perhaps they are custom machined centers, like Slater did on his mini. Anyone got any ideas?

If you not to handy with the spanners, I have a mate who does alot of 24v Cosworth conversions and hes cheap too. Ive been in a few Sierras with a 24v Manual and they are ver quick for a big car and a doner Granaa can be had for very cheap.
