I keep seeing the Dairlylea advert where the cows go rattlingoff in a Morris Minor convertible thing. Its all animated right, so why if they have modelled it up does the Minor have a tax disc in the window? And why is it 07/1996?
Next time its on I'm going to see if theres a plate on that an run it on the DVLA site.
Am I insane to notice, let alone care about this sort of thing?
Anyone know how these ads are made (ie is it a real car whish is photochopped or something?)

I don't know the ad, but its likely that, if its animated in 3d, the shading of the 3d objects will have been done using real images.

I'll bet its on youtube LOL.
Yust struck me as odd that...
1. they bothered rendering a tax disc on to a cartoon car in an advert 2. the tax disc is 10 years out of date.

Maybe they wished to portray these cows as a buch of hoodlums who operate above the law, and have no need for things such as tax discs. If you`d looked closely it would probably have been nicked from something else anyway, there`d be a reg number for a Viva that had been scrapped 6 months previously on it or something.
