another vanload of stuff dragged back from one of my sources today, a right mix of oddments from different makes and models.
mini clubman style flip front, some damage as can be seen, quite a thin/leightweight one. rivet on metal arch extensions, a bit battered. will need work but its cheap! £30.
I think this is HC viva? never fitted, some storage marks/splits but perfectly usable. £25.
a 'point to what you want' pic until I start sorting through the rest.
the lowering springs are mk3/4 escort. the spotlight grilles are mk3 escort, one is possibly spoken for, not sure which one yet. steering wheel is mini/austin fitment. quarter bumper is lotus cortina/some van of some sort. various ford lenses, cortina, escort, etc. wheel is nova SR I believe? yellow mags are OGK, black are raleigh. I think the grille is sprite? theres some 100e stuff too.
also got some cycle parts that will be going up in other mods later, and a really cool cast ally speedboat steering wheel!
mk3/4 escort lowering springs. id guess at 60mm drop as they're short enough to need zip-tying to the cups on the front. £30.
various lenses, let me know if youre after any of them- mostly ford i think. bigfoot gas pedal is tatty, £5
mk3 escort spot grilles, bottom one is provisionally spoken for, top one is an autoplas with bosch spots but one is damaged- see pic. £20 for this.
really funky '50s cast alloy speedboat steering wheel. 14" diameter, fits a 3/4" (19mm) shaft, with a grub screw to retain it. some corrosion as can be seen, but nothing that wont sandblast up. very tempted to keep this for myself, but would let it go at £60.
the first two brooks saddles. i think they both B17s, but one (the better one, without seatpost) is labelled 'brooks competition' rather than the usual brooks badging. rails are rusty, leather is in one piece and i have already started feeding it. i would view them as restoration projects. £20 for the better one, £15 for the other.
mk1 golf heckblende/tailblazer/reflector panel. i dropped it off with my polishing mate this morning and hes given it the once over and removed the majority of the fine scratches. there is still some small marks but they're hard to see and even harder to photograph. only real defect is a crack in the plastic alongside one of the stud holes- it doesnt effect fitting, its still good and solid to screw into. otherwise, its quite clean as can be seen. £100.
