:)hi I have a morris 1300 auto on a 1969 plate tax exempt I bought it as a spare car for parts for my austin build however its really not that bad and I have not taken any parts off it and was fully expecting to keep it and restore it after I finnish my current project , but ive decided to sell her instead . its only been off the rd about 3 years and was very well looked after buy the prev owner . it needs welding , wings sills slight inner wing work ans slight floor work other than that its not a mammoth task . the doors are all perfect inner sills are good the floors are good front end all looks solid , it could be a nice car whatever you wish to do with it keep it stock or make it look cool . please PM me if you are intrested I live in newcastle are the car cost me £300 I have paid garage fees for 12months on it so I want no less than £300 also if you have plans to break it don't ask as I do not want it broken up . what you can do to it !!!!!!!!!! thanks darren

have you any pics of the areas that need welding? hi sorry i have not the car is in a lock up . i had a good once over of the car when i bought it this time last year .the welding is nothing major from what i can see if your able to weld yourself will help the main job would be the wings need to come off they are not cheap at £180 a pair and the trumpet panel is about £80 sills are not to bad and the rest would be repair patches .i would say expect to spend between £500/1000 to get it passed an mot you will easy get your money back as this car should fetch £2k on the rd .it still has its original wings this car has not been messed about with in the passed from what i can see, if you are wanting an ado16 for a project honestly this is a good starting point most of them including my current build are shot to bits i started my build 3 years ago and clad to say the welding is all done but i only saved mine due to it being my first car if i had bought the blue Morris and had them sitting side by side 3 years ago i would of stripped my 2 door for parts and done the Morris as i would be driving it by now i am sure .remember it is an auto so would require converting to a manual if that is what you prefer . if your not to far away from newcastle come and take a look at it, cheers darren

hi
my blue Morris 1300 auto was never sold , i do plan on rebuilding it if i cant sell it but currently involved with my 1300 2 door project that needs time and more money so if i can get the £300 i paid for it then i would be happy to pass it on as a project build not for spares .
i live in whitley bay area
i cant deliver it sorry
ive never had a battery on the car so i cant confirm for sure if it will run ,but its an A- series they are fairly bullet proof should only be minor things
ok for viewing most days but weekends are better
you will be taking on a rebuild project so expect holes but i have a good knowledge of the ado 16 s and this one for the year really is good ,
thanks pm me with any interest
