Very black Audi Dinky Fiat, Kims favourite none yellow 1303 of the night Kims favourite yellow 1303 of the night, so great infact she was asleep by the M40 and only woke up as we pulled into home! ;D

yes it is still running a rotary - belongs to Glen from Classic Cars. Was off the road for ages when he couldn't get it out of his garage cause the brake caliper was so stuck... goes nicely now, had a couple of lifts in it

"had a couple of lifts in it" - I mean I was a passenger in it, not that it had elevators fitted in a pimp my ride style

Yeah awesome meet even if I didn't chat to you speedman, nice pics BTW. The sheer variety of stuff that turned up made my eyes scatter as i waltzed in. So much ooofage I couldn't walk straight afterwards.

Twas a good night, it's such a blinkin' shame that whilst I live relatively close in terms of mileage (about 20) it's such a dog to get to! ;D The Audi was an unexpected 'car of the night' for me! Great to see fellow RRers too. I only took about 10 photos in total, I just feel a bit of a twonk walking round with a tripod! ;D I should really make more of an effort.

Going to have to make the trek down to The Ace at least once this year.
In truth, it only takes about 90-100mins from here, which is probably less time than it takes to get to it from some parts of Sarf London- but with the weekday meets seemingly starting quite early it would mean taking half a day off work- so I guess we'll be coming down for an OSF meet on a saturday.

It gets used for cross European rallies and was prisitne. Except for a dented rear wheelarch, inflicted by a Transit in a car park earlier in the day (Speedman photo ;D)

So it was real then? That's a seriously big money car! Imagine the Transit drivers insurance companies face when that old car he knocked in the car park gets a £30,000 quote at Rod Jolley's! ;D

I should have given the owner Lance McCormacks number! I had a chat with Glen from Classic Cars who told me the story....
