Doing my Keefy bit before he does.... what the hell are you expecting to achieve this spring? -No excuses now either, its gonna be warmer, lighter, and drier, I hope. So evenings can be included in getting on with the tin, and quiet time from the O/H (unless of course its her car, in which case I have orded some keep hands clean gloves for her!) -This is the important season too, this is where retro rides heroes pull show stoppers almost out of the hat! how on earth can we keep up?! -------- Me? well onto (virtually) my 5th vehicle, I am rapidly losing it! so here is how Project: Conveyor belt goes.... - Finish Sapph tidy up this week and get it on the market and sold! - Tidy up the original MR2, get them pre tyred shinier wheels on, and get to work on clutch and cam belt, have 3 months of spring fun before MOT 2, and retro show @ pod - Fit a temporary exhaust to the V8 so it can move without harrassing the neighbours! making use of garage. look into more progress if time too. -get the garage TIDY, helping erect a shed and selling/chucking tat should sort that! - Move new MR2 home? and ship cortina to garage for MOT prep action??? - as ever, other STUFF! judging by the winter progress review, I know this is all too much! we'll see...

My plans are as follows: Mini 35- Get clutch free'd off
- Re-fit bits and peices. Ie. Mirror, speakers, trim, arches.
- Get new windscreen due to big chip right in the drivers eyeline.
- Get MOT
- When I get more money get a new carpet and dashboard.
Hornet- Get new headlinning to match the stuff I've already ripped out (Looks like loads of shells)
- Get Mrs. MiniDan to put a weld a patch just under the headlight and a few other places.
- Get some tyres and re-ferb the wheels
- Get the engine running again. Hopefully wont take much.
- Get everything that was chrome re-chromed.
- Refit everything.
Bantam- Get new rear arch due to crack where my dad bust it putting his rowing machine in my lockup (without me knowing )
- Re-paint
- Get it running (always a challange! Kickstarting for 2hrs isn't fun!)
Thats about it. I've probably forgot something somewhere so I will ammend as and when

nows a good time of year for me, i just need to find time!
My current plan is to get the Benz sold. Then plough those funds into the 411 and Rapid. The 411 should be ready for an MoT soon, once i can solve the clutch problem. Still, theres the anti-roll bar mount to finish first.
Selling the benz should give me the readies to buy the panels for the Rapid, and that should then be a little sticking together job and all sorted.
And I'm gonna try and spend some time on getting the bike done - but that, and my bug, and entirely cash dependant

Minx! Minx! Minx!!
I have, umm, about a fortnight to get the Super Minx sorted and on the road ready for some showtime fun. Bearing in mind it hasn't seen the road in 13 years it could be interesting. ARGH! I have a week off work soon, so that -may- help. Fingers crossed!!
Also need to divest myself of the lurid skoda, preferably with some decent paint on it. Even if I just get it into primer before 'passing the batten on' would be good.

Triumph Dolomite Sprint 3.5EFiI swear the list gets longer each day......... - Finish wiring loom for fused & relayed thermostatic Kenlowe fans, install manual over-ride for one - Replace FR wheel bearing - Service - Paint & anti-rust transmission tunnel - Spray floorpan to match exterior - Do some wiring (tidying mostly and making some nice cable runs) - Fit head unit - Fit gauges (Autometer tach, 3 smiths gauges, air-fuel gauge) - Fit Sierra brakes, bias valve and line lock - Fit new tires - Refit total interior and clean up - Check about underneath - Tidy up front end - Tidy up rear arches - MOT & test - Rolling Road - Santa Pod 1/4 mile runs, a good few to get it settled - Thinking about fitting Megasquirt so I can ditch the flapper and have much bigger filter instead - New steering wheel! I'm also swinging between fitting buckets, or fitting leather seats at the moment........Can't help feeling a nice pair of snug leather seats would do the trick, along with that newfangled 'make your 3 pointer hold you more like a harness' seatbelt addon.....

Range Rover.... I think I've made my mind up to sell it. I'm not missing driving it like I thought I would, so once I've sorted the alternator out I think I will be putting it up for sale. I originally went looking for a leaf-sprung Landy until I drove one and remembered how back-breakingly uncomfortable they were, then I bought the RR on a bit of a whim. If I was to keep it and tidy it up it still wouldn't fire my imagination that much, it's an incredibly competent and economical motor, but it's somehow not me. I blame you lot, if I hadn't discovered R-R late last year I wouldn't be looking longingly at 60's/70's Brit tin!!!!! Time will tell, I may change my mind a thousand times in the next few weeks. I'm currently compiling a wish-list of things to replace it with.
Escort....It's a competent, economical daily....and worth spending some time on, but being sensible I'm not going to be throwing wads of cash at it. Having said that it's still going to be hit with a big stick in the next few weeks (for the sake of £50-odd worth of springs and a couple of hours spanner-wielding it would be churlish not to) and a set of rims will be going on it, but that's about all.

1. Get Metro MOTd (hopefully next week) so I can start using it and start resting the 2CV a little. 2. Chuck a new carb on the 2CV to see if it cures the iffy running (if it does, then I'll rebuild the original) 3. Get the H Van checked out before its first event (Easter) 4. Look at the Vanden Plas and think "I need more time/money!" May have to sell it. 5. Move house. Hopefully May. Garage! Wooo-hooooo!

Camper - Get it ready for show season camping in 2 weeks time, then during the year make a list of "all those little jobs" mostly interior stuff so no biggy
Beetle - Nothing planned, though the GT wheels could do with a spruce up again
Golf - Just keep it running
All three of them - get out and use, spent a lot of this weekend pottering round in the sunshine in the camper, perfect weather for it ;D

Herald: Same as the winter plans! Keep it going with what hopefully turns out to be a nice and reliable newer engine and 'box. Get some good tyres on the new rims. Maybe do some bodywork. Probably won't though. Sun-Tor: MOT (this week!) All being well it'll pass OK but will need fixing if it fails anyway as the tax runs out this month too. Then it'll possibly be up for sale after a bit of a spruce/clean up. If it sells we'll be looking for a replacement! Morris: Weld up floor pans. Do the front brake disc conversion using MGB parts and relocating the lever arm shock. Then possibly plod it up with some filler here and there (which would get re-done at a later date) to MOT it so it becomes a legal entity, can be parked on the street if necessary and generally moved around. This would also mean that if more work got done over next winter it'd already be legal when the shows start next year.

To get the ones on the capri sitting as low as is humanly (or humanely) possible.
Hopefully make the start on fitting an engine (any, now way beyond caring what V formation power it) into the viva. Those are the major ones. Picking up my 6 series so I can get it into a driveable state is also fairly high on my list, then I have to arrange everything for mum's P5. Pick up the 'new' viva which I have promised to buy off someone and get the scaab turbo into driveable condition by sticking une new gearbox in it.
Phew!
*goes to bury head in sand*

Spring brings the following for me… Celeste: Collect the rear leaves from being lowered 2”, refit to the car, set the stance, buy the wheel spacers according to rules of afore mentioned stance, fit the new engine, rebuild all the brakes and steering, do the welding to the front inner wings and sort the rear arches, find a new / repair the old rear bumper, prep and spray, drive and enjoy! ETA – May/June Colt: Do the cambelt, fit the new exhaust, fit the handbrake cables, Get it MOT’ed and drive it. ETA – A couple of weeks, as the tax on the lancer runs out at the end of the month!! Wizard: Re-MOT it when it runs out, then sit it in the garage waiting patiently for the sun to come out!
