Mate of mine in the ABS bought an Opel Monza GSE too many years ago (at least 4) to remember from Ed China of all people....... I went down with him to trailer it back if it was any good and tell him to walk away if it wasn't.... It had very good turrets but was a bit frilly in other areas so he bought it Trouble was he didn't have a lot of time or money to work on it but kept accumulating parts over the last couple of years Meanwhile time parked in his garden wasn't kind to it and it got a lot worse than when he picked up but it Anyway it was a bit rotten by the time he started in ernest before xmas.............. Actually a lot rotten but all credit to him he's been cutting away rot and stitching in new He came to visit today Four years to get one of these  Another one on the road

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That is nice. My Monza fetish is definitely reaching danger levels! Always loved them as a child. A black GS/E would make me literally whoop with excitement.

Unbeleivable the amount of work Adrian put into this one. From the pics I saw there are a lot better examples being scrapped

It never ceases to amaze me the lengths you guys will go to keep these on the road... I've never driven one though, so that might explain it ;D

Great cars. Great story.
I remember when I was much younger driving through Scotland in my Opel Kadett and one of these was behind us on a country road. Not for long though. The roar of the six as he powered past us was impressive. That was a white one.
