It's crossed my mind before now too. If you want to keep it in the Mazda family, KL V6? It's a familar MX-5 conversion so could suit well. It may not have as much BHP stock, but the V6 will offer more torque. I CAN see it having cult status in the future, just for the left-fieldness of rotary plus mad doors. I mean, RX-7's have cachet even with 'proper' doors. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I was thinking about getting a slightly bent RX7/RX8 for my MX5 for a bit of a different route. What do we think of that?

Google it on Passionford,Martin hadland (reyland) has almost completed a VAG 20v turbo conversion on one and if he's doing it,you can bet it will be to the highest standard. Great looking motors.

1JZ out of a supra fits well. This guy works on my cars and did it to his rx8. Turned out rather well.

I'm currently doing a conversion for work. The hole is a very odd shape that's left by the Rotary, a tumble dryer would fit well!! Also the Electric power steering rack is smack bang in the way of a lot!! They are a lovely car though so would highly recommend them. Great suspension, lovely ride quality, just f all power!!! We're going for a small capacity turbo with no metal cutting not an easy feat. We're gonna be driving the standard clocks on it too.
I'm leaving the company soon, but i'm sure it'll appear on the internets after finishing.
