I really want to know what its like to live with.
It’s been a few months since my last update. Have spent every spare minute finishing off, tweaking and changing various bits and pieces. Still not quite there yet, but these things evolve on a weekly basis. I’m so happy with the vans reliability and fun factor that I have sold my T4 and use the HY as my works break down truck, parts fetcher, weekend camper and daily driver. You name it this vehicle does it. And it puts a big smile on my miserable old face (and that’s hard to do these days)
I am currently preparing the van for our summer holiday in France, where we will be wild camping most of the time. Therefore I am making/fitting a shower, toilet, solar panel, roof rack and a gasit system.. Oh and a huge inverter for the mrs’s *loody hair dryer…. She would rather *hit in a hole in the ground than live without that. ! ! ! ha ha
This should make us totally self sufficient.
