Been searching for a couple of hours trying to figure out what these recaro seats are from They came in a bmw I recently bought They are recaro special edition seats as it stitched on the side of the bolsters Just cant figure out what they are out of Here's a few poor pics   |

I was going to say that they look not a million miles away from Escort Cosworth Recaro's, so, yeah, Mk5 RS2000 maybe even the 4x4 version. Or were they more 'winged' like in a Fiesta Si of the same vintage?

Yeah, I'd go with aftermarket too.
Seem to remember seats like this (and various colourway variations on the theme) back in car mags around '92/'93 ish, when me and my cousin were doing up an old mini.

Bam! These are later seats that the guy retrimmed with Recaro fabric he bought off ebay!  Have a look for Recaro Gradient/Gradient/Gradation Fabric Joe |

Cobra also used a similar fabric, shown here on buckets but it was also available on their Recaro-style recliner:  Here's some Bride seats (mentioned by HotWire) sporting a similar look:  |

Okay so they was never factory fitted in any car?
What do we think these are worth they are in pretty good shape all working with just some bottom base wear.
Bloody comfortable too, very tempted to keep them for my mk2 golf:)
