Having had a 100 and finding it just too huge, I'm now thinking about an Audi 90 (an 80 with the five pot) or coupe (five pot again) because I just love that engine! A coupe five pot came warbling past me the other night. It had some sort of stainless exhaust and the noise was truly pant-wettingly gorgeous.
My mate had an A6 with the turbo'd V6 diesel. That shifted but again, was enormous!

My Ol Audi S6 I really loved this car and wold still have it just now if it was not for the fuel economy, it was horrific. I could not get better than 15MPG on my daily use. Fantastic big car and very very capable. Mine had done 160K and it was still tight as a drum, and never felt loose at all. Oh and that 5 cylinder at full chat...Nothing can beat it....

Thanks a lot peeps.
You've got me thinking about old big Audi's again. I drove past a mint MK1 80 Sport in red this morning and i've been thinking about it all day.
Last time I did that I (thankfully) lost out by 1p on an old 1970's 100 that was miles away in Scotland!!!
A neighbour used to have one of the 200 Turbo's (early 80's model) with the 4 small headlights - went like stink till her son took it out for a spin and promptly hit a wall with it.
