12" x 5" wheels with 165/60/12 tyres. No rubbing what so ever & fit the arches well. Handles sweet compared to the steels that were on there Forgot to add AA badge is an addition & also resprayed the front bumper to get rid of some rust... May do an electronic ignition upgrade on it too...

I have been looking at electronic ignition for mine - Probably going to junk the whole Ducellier distributor and replace it with an electronic Lucas unit. Goodbye to points!

apart from drain the fluid out which would cause a really bad ride...how can you lower a metro?

Wheels came with Falkens, handles really well with them on. Yes - good ridens to points!

apart from drain the fluid out which would cause a really bad ride...how can you lower a metro? The same way you lower a mini. You have to take the aluminium trumpets out and shave some off the ball-joint end, then put it all back together again. I'm not sure what the ratio on a metro is, perhaps someone on MetroPower will. On a mini it's 3 to 1 on the front and 5 to 1 on the back, I think. The only ball-ache is you will have to de-pressurise the hydro to remove the trumpets, re-pressurise once you're done, then let it all settle out before you'll know how much effect you've had. If you've gone too low at least you can add a spacer washer under the ball joint like Rover did for the Sportpack Mini's to raise it back up again. Phil.
