Hey folks,
Havent been posting much recently, but that'll change from now on!! Recently, my thoughts have been turning to sorting out a proper classic/retro for the summer time.
My current fleet:
'90 BMW 318iS - just bought this, love it - it isnt going anywhere
'00 Mini Cooper - Hoping to sell this soon. Too much money tied up in a car I don't use.
'7x Mini Clubman - a project car that I cant see ever getting finished under my watch (It's stored an hour away, I want to spend my free time driving and tinkering with the 318iS which is on my drive)
'04 Landcruiser - company car, so is not a permanent fixture (hoping to move jobs by end of summer)
So, both the Minis should be leaving within the next couple of months, leaving me with somewhere up to £7k to spend on something to play around with in the summer. My dream was to always have a decent "daily" which for now is the 318iS and a nice classic Mini. However, I'm slowly beginning to love all retro cars, but there is a huge space issue I currently have a 1 car drive (landcruiser is in a neighbours drive) and one Mini is stored in my grans, and one in a mates.
Getting to the point...
My requirements:
-MUST BE 30+ years old (for silly Irish tax reasons).
-Must be incredibly cool
-Want something fairly quick
-Not really looking for a project.
-Doesnt have to be practical
-Cant be blue
-£7k budget (but ideally more like £4k)
What I've thought of:
Tweed Grey minivan with 1380, s discs and sorted suspension. I've ALWAYS wanted one.

Another Teenage fantasy - really taken by this. Look at that backside - oooooooof
Hillman Avenger - always loved these, but not exactly exciting!
Jag XJ-S - rust & electrical nightmare?
Old Merc Saloon - bit boring for what I'm looking for at the mo.
Aside from these - I'm honestly stumped as to what to look at! The top two listed are my favourites, but a porsche would be stretchin the budget a bit!
