OK, so my late grandad used to have a mint brown Samba back wen I was a kid, so I've always had a soft spot for them. Recently, and surprisingly extremely locally, I found a silver Samba on a driveway that I can have cheap.
I know you can put AX lumps in these, and you can put VTS lumps in AX's, so apart from wiring and plumbing should it be relatively simple. Any of the suspension be swapped to gain 4-stud?
I've got a low-miler VTS comin in that needs brakes, clutch, cambelt do it's got mr thinking... It's possibly a bit too tidy to part-out but a roost donor would be cheap anyway. Not that I need another project just yet but I could put it into storage for a later date. Goig to Google-Fu now just wondering if anyone knew already.
