I think in days gone by ACE had a kind of gentlemans agreement with the police that as they have marshalls there they would keep it under control and therefore the police would leave them alone....
Unfortunately due to a number of chavvier events such as the Max Power night ( which I'm ashamed to say I was part of ) and this new fire and ice event loads of idiots who have probably just passed their tests have been going up there and causing trouble and driving dangerously....
Therefore i think police attendance on these kind of nights is likely.....
Having said that we did a photo shoot up there with a few promo girls semi clothed and one of the police bikers asked to have a photo with her on his bike... she ended up flashing and we got a cracking pic of a policeman smiling away on his bike with a topless bird sitting oin the back!

But yeh, be careful around here. Some of the 'high 'n mightys' get a bit wound up with these videos. It's not about being "high and mighty", it's about having some fcuking sense. The Escort van was clearly putting people at risk. The Audi driver posted some time back was drifting on a really busy roundabout. In this vid, there was one other car, and the driver stopped until the coast was clear. Big difference. |

Just seen the vid you guys were talking about ... Just so you know as you can see the road was empty, and the car was in complete control! I go to ace cafe regularily and have done for years..... I also have worked closely with ACE on a number of the nights there when I worked for a certain famous chav car magazine..... I therefore would not do anything to pee them off / upset them as they are all very nice people.. The roundabout in the vid is about 400m down the road from the cafe and is out of sight... There you go so stop your whining!! tut tut 'ers  ;D The roundabout may well be out of sight so you then post a lame video clip of your exploit on the internet well thought out |

I said I wasn't going to lecture and I stick by that but it has to be remembered that this is a public forum - do we want to be seen as people who lark about on public roads? Just a thought.

I'm suprised the Royal Mail have not made an official complaint to the council as their North London main depot is a few hundred yards away from the Ace (next to the roundabout in question ),their lorries are continually held up due to "traffic" on these roundabouts! This also extends to London Transport and the buses! It all makes for good entertainment and is actually good to watch until everyone and his dog joins in!!! Common sense is needed here, and I have seen serveral accidents at the Ace due to offensive driving by idiots  The worse part is that eventually an innocent party will be killed and the Cafe will be closed for good!  |
