I'm in sunny Canada for a week visiting the in-laws. It's snowy here and damn cold. So far I haven't seen any Skodas
I have seen an unusual VW though and I'd appreciate some suggestions as to what it might be. Sadly I didnt have my camera.
The car was a Golf. One of those golf Mk1s with the chunky US style grilles with the square headlights. At least the front of the car was, the rest of the car was a 2 door estate shell. Something like a Golf equivalent of the 2 door Polo Mk2/3 estate.
I know it was a Golf Mk1 from the front because I drove one for years. I know it was not a Polo Mk2 estate because my mother drives one so I am familiar with them. It was parked up so as far as -20c conditions would allow me to I could examine it. And it didn't look like some kind of home-made special. So somewhere in the world VW must have made a 2 door golf Mk1 estate, though this is the first time I've ever seen one. Have any of you ever seen one? Pictures?
