Well I went and collected the Golf Syncro Yesterday from Kendal Got back in the eary hours of this morning Now its done 48,000 miles from new and been dry stored so its very very tidy underneath and drives really well But it needs some stonechips and the like sorting out before It goes out to France next winter As it looked this morning pre-clean The easiest way is to do a Bottom half "Below the swageline" respray ....... Well that opens up a whole world of Opportunity to be a bit more creative with it ;D Now the car spends the winter in a Ski resort so It will not be lowered and the condition of the roads can be shocking It will have the GTI Steels and snowtyres on it though which will look a bit better than the povo steels on there at the moment.... So what do you all suggest ? Ideas so far Taxi ;D Rally Slag Polizei Photoshops more than welcome too Cheers Dom

RRPD for the M-F win.
Matte black from the swage line down, the bonnet, roof and tailgate, the bit below the grille and the lower valance.
Triple-check tape just under the swage line.
"RRPD Cruiser"
on the front doors
win.

I like the urban camo look idea. Howabout leopard print effect? Snow leopard? Err, what about some sort of arctic camo? Oh, and I'm loving the Syncro, especially in white with the steelies. I had a grey Syncro with Gti bits (just a bit wrong really) and a white driver identical looking to that, always wanted to mix the both. If it were mine I'd leave clean white but whip the syncro badge off, raise it a bit, add some alloy skid plates and stick some 4in wide gloss black steels on with studded ice tyres and some discreet VW style badges proclaiming it as a limited edition 'Snow White' edition or summat equally likely to confuse viewers. Maybe a rear mounted Hella spot lamp or summat? Hmmm
