This sold on Ebay last night, but this morning it didn't.
The price it went for I wasn't really happy with and the listing ended at 11:30PM on St Paddys night wasn't the smartest idea either.
Bad points:
The heater still doesn't blow hot. It's had a new thermostat and heater tap.
It's got a Clifford alarm box, which does nothing.
Someones fitted aftermarket electric windows, which do nothing.
No parcel shelf and the sunroof has been replaced with a piece of plastic and somehow does not leak. If this were Top Gear they would call this a Superleggera.
If you fill the petrol tank to full, the car becomes bulimic. Something to do with being a Superleggera I think, petrol = weight = bad.
The radio only picks up stations when it wants to.
Front washer jet replaced with a random pipe.
Bonnet has a massive dent, looks like someone recreated Grand Theft Auto.... or, someone just sat on it. Was there when I got it.
Bodywork has dings and scratches.
Someone broke into it the other night, they bent the door back. The steering lock and ignition are untouched, they did not get into the car. Probably too stupid to realise how Panda doors work. It's been bent back and the paint has come off.
O/S Headlight cracked & O/S rear light cracked neither effect MOT.
It's 18 years old, so has various dings and scratches.
Good points:
It's a Panda.
Doors are pretty solid unlike most Pandas.
Selectas are faster than manual Pandas.
Doesn't appear to have been welded, underneath is solid.
It has a circa '90's Goodmans cassette radio, with a 3.5 mm input for ipod/mp3/smartphone music playback. (A Ferrari F40 doesn't have this option, unless someone installed a radio.)
It has a set of brand new 'super deluxe car mats' with a £19.99 RRP.
Comes with a stack of history, had a new timing belt 10,00 miles ago. Had a new head gasket 20,000 miles ago.
Save money on LSD, just look at that interior.
Tax until 31st May.
Mot 26th November.
This is not a Concours car, but find me another Selecta for sale, is it a 1995? Does it have roof bars? Does the heater blow hot? If yes to all of these questions, then you are the Indiana Jones of finding cars.
