in the process of trying to sort out some classic insurance for my Escort. I typed in classic ford insurance and got a company called performance direct. They do it for a around £200 for the year. anyone use these guys?
Also would it be better doing this as a separate insurance to my daily driver on Admiral? I'm 25 with a couple of years NCB, i guessed it would be cheaper this way and also i want to make sure i have decent insurance for it. they charged me about £38 just for the two weeks ive been using it. It runs out tomorrow so i'll probably have to use my focus if it get to expensive.

I can't rate them high enough, I was messed around to high hell with Flux and out of the blue after a random search on a normal compare site they came up the cheapest.
I thought I would find the in's and outs so I phoned them up, a lovely lady ran me through things and said she would phone me back in a few minutes as there was something she wanted to look in to about it and thought she might be able to save me more money.
Less than 5 minutes passed and she was calling me back explaining where I could save money and what the best policy she could offer for my needs, and after getting quotes of just shy of £400 for a J import MR2 turbo, of her own back she had managed to come up with a quote of £220.
And come renewal time, that nice lady phoned me back asking me about changes and would I like to hear the prices for this years term, I agreed and and informed here of a few changes and played a blinder £182 for a modified MR2 turbo, we agreed on a power limit of 350 bhp as this is way beyond anywhere I would take the car, and agreed value on the modifications already on the car.
If only all car insurance was this nice and easy. Althou Chaucer have done will this term I shall see what they are like when it comes to renewal, after all I couldn't complain about changing from one car to another or how they delt with the problematic Express Insurance.

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

At 25 you're doing good to find someone who will give you Classic insurance, price is not bad.
I'm with Footman James, they blew the other companys out the water when i had two cars, one Fiesta and one Sierra on the same policy for £124 a year!
