Another mis-interpretation.
If a vehicle fitted with HIDs has levellers and washers fitted, they must work, however having them fitted is not mandatory.

Country of Registration? If I MOT my Uk registered car in France (called a CT there) will it last 2 years -like theirs? Possibly but you still wont be able to tax your car here without a valid UK MoT. See also this; www.ukmot.com/next.asp?ID=80

Its a line on a computer screen, why worry about it!!
I suspect/guess possibly its for our lovely EU friends over here to get an MoT. They need a UK one, before they register their cars on our DVLA system. I believe they have to have a current UK mot before they can do this, so I guess it helps someone somewhere in the system.
