Doesnt run, has been store for over 30 years! All i know is it ran when it was taken off the road in the late 70's, It leaked water and the clutch cable went. Its been stored in the same Garage for over 30 years, it's surprisingly solid and no real signs of rot/rust Any idea what it's worth as it is? Only pictures i have at the moment:

A bit of history with my Singer Chamois Sport. I bought one when I was about 32yrs old sometime between 1967 and 1969 and the dealer in Bournemouth said the colour was British Racing Green.
I loved it, I could take corners with the front inside wheel 6 Inches off the ground. I'm a musician, and my friend, who was also the drummer with the BBC Radio Big Band, had an identical car. I put some wide wheels on it and check straps on the front suspension. Also some straps on the bonnet, to look good. My drummer friend and I were what they called Hoons today I suppose, but not as stupid.
In 1970 I emigrated to Australia with my family and settled in Sydney and had the Singer shipped over on a cargo ship. It arrived about a month later and I had to take it to be registered with new Aussie plates etc. They said it failed registration because they had no record of there being a Singer Chamois Sport and also would not accept the wide wheels. I drove it home illegally and soon a friendly Hillman Imp neighbor said he would lend me his regular size wheels and I went back to the inspection station and said it was another name for a Hillman Imp and they passed it OK. Hooray!
I made a friend who had a service station in Sydney and he was a car nut and let me use his garage to do some work on it. I'd never touched an engine before but with the help of the service manual and my friends tools I removed the engine by putting a block under it and pushing the body away from the engine. Then I decarbonised the cylinder head and put new rings on all pistons and some special shims in which supposedly make it go faster. Remember I'd only ever put petrol in a car before.
I put it all together with a new gasket on the cylinder head and then came the big moment seeing if it would start again.
I didn't have much hope but, incredibly, it started first time and sounded great. Whoopee! Now comes the sad part.
I'd been having a great time driving home in the early hours of the morning at over 90mph (I did get a couple of tickets though) but one day driving to work about 5pm I went round a curve doing 60mph to meet a ute heading towards me head on with the driver asleep. No other traffic on the road. I couldn't avoid him and the sad result was my beautiful car was a write-off and I was in hospital for a week.
I hadn't learned to let go the 12inch steering wheel before impact, it looked like a pretzel, but they saved my fingers. I was unconscious and they had to cut me out of the car. I never saw it again and it's sad that such a unique model car was never seen on the roads in Australia again.
I've had lots of cars since then, I'm 82yrs now but the Singer Chamois Sport was the most fun car I've ever had. Regards beboplives
