ok was not expecting that, saw the what a power plant and was thinking something like a nice ford/rover V8. not a flaming V10 viper engine! I know there will be people cursing like god's fury at that, but I definitely am not one of them. I now have my first rolls royce on my dream wishlist

That's fabulous. What will the restorers think? ;D Probably not a lot, Rolls were traditionally sold as chassis for bespoke coach built bodies to be fitted, all that has been used is a tired looking bespoke body, especially if it was a body was from a lesser coachbuilder, None of the chassis or running gear from the original car was used, at the end of the day the body could have off one of many chassis, Packard, Cadillac etc,I would make an educated guess the original chassis is still smoking about with another body sitting on it, even looking at the Radiator, it looks like a repro, from pictures I have been looking at the corner on the genuine one they are quite sharp, where the other one had radiused corners, and you can see the bottom fixings which I don't ever remember seeing on a roller.
