Afternoon all
I've been contemplating a lock up to mess about on my car, and possibly a new addition (if funds and the missus allows!), but I'm struggling to find something suitable. I think a share would be great but finding one is proving difficult.
Does anyone know of anything going in Essex? The more south east the better.

I've been looking for somewhere reasonable in SE London/Nth Kent for years, but with close proximity to the m25 we seem to be doomed :-(

I'd be happy with that sort of area, but as you say, the money goes into silly territory around there.
The thing is, I don't know where to look in thefirst place!

I'm near Southend too pollystag. I'd be pretty much doing this as a complete novice to what I want to do so it'd be great to find somewhere for a few like-minded guys to rent. Obviously, the more minds the better, and more wallets the cheaper!
What's your idea?

I'm in hockley,loads of little units on farms and small ind sites round here,i'll have to have a shufty around and get some prices.

In Eastwood myself. I was out on the bike Saturday and went through ashingdon, hullbridge etc and there must be something out there!

Possibly more Canewdon way. I did know of somewhere nr Upminster but no idea on prices
Rather it more closer to home though

I have a unit in hawkwell, don't think theres any empty units on the site but i i'll you know if one comes up.
I would say your best looking in canewdon/stanbridge ares. I know theres quite a big site behind stambridge church don't know if theres any space on there?
As has been said before price will be the biggest problem.

Gents, I know of a unit in Benfleet that may work out, if its still available. I was going to sort it myself but the wife says no  If interested, I'll dig out the guys number. It's on a farm with security cameras just under Canvey Way, and is probably big enough for 5 to 6 cars with a bit of shuffling about. |

Yes mate, I'd like to find out what he wants per month for it. The thing that worries me is obviously the security side of things, and obviously price.
If any of the other guys on this thread want to let us know their plans on what they want a unit for, money they'd be willing to spend and how long they'd like a space for, that'd be great. Maybe if something can get going on this, we'd all have a meet up for a who's who type thing

Gents, spoke to the guy today, Tony, the unit still has a bit of straw in in at the moment, but he couldnt talk much when I phoned him so he is calling me back tomorrow. I'll have an update for you all .
