I'm VERY interested by that 4 door high rise Seat 850. Didnt know such a beast existed... Is it really impossible to get wibblepoo out? is this yard a long wya down Spain? I'd be willing to have a punt at that -if there's any reasonable likelihood? Are you talking about the little light green car. I will have to check tomorrow.

BTW I have found out that the really rusty looking car is a Model A pick up! Superb for a Rat rod.

Nige, those things seem an oddity for us only used to the 2 door 850s but in Spain they are well known. The Spanish market always demanded a 4 door versions of even the smallest cars... I'm sure they're a bit rarer than an ordinary 850 but they are not impossible to find over there. No idea what one would be worth, but they are just regular production cars that had a fair old run. If you can't get that exact one I'm sure you find another.... search for 'Seat 850 4 puertas'. There was one for sale here for 4000 (euros? Pesos?) but it looks mintola and it's the top-of-the-range 'Especial Lujo' version They're also mega cool. oh, and they replaced this in the model range...

This Rover is very interesting as it is on Norwegian plates! That some trip for an old Rover P4. There are no records of it in the Norwegian car registry, it comes up as unknown. It is on Oslo plates (DA) so most likely someone drove it to spain on holiday and left it either becuase it gave them problem or maybe they left it at their summer house. Anyway it will have had to had a 3000km trip once in it slife

Ian Sorry I don't think its a Ford (which is what I imply you mean) unless its one built locally with different panels. The grille is obviously not 'normal' Model A Ford though I suppose that cold always have been changed. The recess in the front for a badge is round not oval... Compare the beading shape at the join of the cowl and door, and particularly on the door below the window. While the middle of the three hinges could have been broken off from the Spanish truck, I think the lower hinge is in a different position. The other most obvious difference is the sun visor section above the screen. Oh and the headlights being mounted on the fender and not on a bar. Oh and the wheel is a solid steel and not a wire. Oh and the cowl has a completely different arch. So I doubt that its a Ford Model A. Definitely something of that 1930ish vintage though and I'd be happy to be proved wrong if I am.

We founf a model a pick up truck with that exact grill yesterday. I find the pick again. Trouble is loads of cars were very similar at that time.

Yes there are differences but possibly that could be down to different model year. Also i have been told it could be a model BB?
