405, very nice. Got a hankering for one since my Dad had a Mi16 a few years back. Was going to swap it for my Astra when he was diagnosed with the big C but my Wife couldn't get on with the clutch. One day maybe...........

I love the car in the OP. Be awesome to recreate it, but it could so easily become barry-tastic if you weren't careful :-) This is the thing with Super Touring Cars, without the wheels and stance they would look terrible... in fact, even with the wheels and at even a lowered height they would look like anything that could be spotted on any retail park carpark fifteen years ago. |

if i remember right the front wings used to be replaced after each race as the tyres used to burn through the wings due to them flexing when you turned the steering. somthing to do with the regs not allowing flared arches over a certain width so the just made them so the tyre moeved them during turns.
got to love lateral thinking to get round the rules lol.
