OMG ! 2019 already !! Thanks John and Willem(M) ! There is progress, but it's limited....
The engine is out again. Started with the firewall, first some sort of frame.... Than filling the gap, considering the space needed for the engine and exhaust. But then, to make it even harder.... I want to incorporate the fan housing (the heater matrix will be in the engine compartment). The airflow will run through the original 'air duct' / centre console of the car (the Fiat 126 was aircooled

even in Holland it has to have an iva ( rdw ) test. he's changing the amount of cylinders on the engine. in lucky circumstances you only have to show your car and the alterings you made , but they may ask for additional tests.

Wow,I need to see this being done! I thought og doing this to a Starlet ep7. And generally think the 1krfe would be a great autenthic swap for older light small cars due to the light engine. I had my Aygo for 10years/250k km. I alwaysed loved that little car for its low weight and ever working little engine. There's also quite a few engine mods that Will Up a significant amount og HP. Filter box is restraint Exhaust pipe diameter Headers ITB +revlim remove Remap due to conservative ignition timing I would rather see this NA, but SC and Turbo had been done as well /End of enthusiasme. PS stop by here to her some cheering www.facebook.com/groups/283942661775542/

Damn this is cool build. Love the 3 cylinder sound. Got to drive friends P126 with 30kw electric motor few months ago, 250km range with Tesla batteries. Super fun.

Thanks Guys! There is not al lot to tell. I'm recovering from a hernia . Just recently started to disassemble the rear suspension. I want to refurbish all the parts before putting them back together. New parts are orded, about te finish building a blasting cabinet... in short, back on the job!! Removing the old suspension bushes took some serious persuasion and heavy iron. We welded this old press on a serious piece of steel beam and used a meter long steel tube to turn IMG_9069 by b25fe9e50d2654fec441db10e4bdf41c, on Flickr

Love this! We have a pug 107 and Citroen C3 in the family with this 1.0 engine. Great on fuel, sounds good and excellent power for the size/weight. Wander if it will make its way into more classics?

C3 didn't use this engine, it has a 1.2 3 cylinder of PSA design. The Toyota mill is great though for this, suits the character of the car brilliantly!

Partners grandad has a 2016 1.0 3 cylinder C3 in Spain, pretty sure they sold them here. My mum has a 1.2 208 and there were loads of 1.0 versions about when we were looking so image the C3 had them too?

The 1 litre isn't the Toyota engine though, it's a PSA engine. main differences being the Toyota motor has a timing chain whereas the PSA motor has a cambelt in oil arrangement. Strange that they didn't use the Toyota engine though.

If you're going off your phone, try reducing the size. I always have issues with the website uploader until I make the pics smaller.

Top work. I look forward to seeing it finished.
I was thinking about trying to do a similar swap but with fiat twin air, twin cyl. motor instead.
Good luck with it!
