That's right. I went there recently and the site is almost cleared now. They specialise in Jaguars - I was amazed they only had one XJ40 there. I went there just before they cleared it, and afterwards. I wouldn't say he was a nutjob, probably the most friendly scrap yard owner you could meet. He still has a load of old stuff in there, but nothing like it was. I got photos of it somehwere, I'll post them up. Yes, he's not a 'nut job' - I though he was a friendly bloke too. I was astonished at how few cars there are there now in comparison ot the past - it is a famous yard for Jaguar parts. David

dave kelly in legacy is ok but his prices were well steep,i bought a jag that was a toyota main agent swapper a few years ago from lindop brothers for £350 which is like 400 quid with indemnity and it was a little gem,it had a dent in the back panel and needed a bumper as that took a hit also and dave kelly wanted nearly 200 notes just for a rear bumper,i looked on ebay and got a as new one for 25 quid off a bloke who breaks jags to banger race. if you thought his prices were dear you should of tried buying a car off him,he always kept the decent stuff for a while incase he coluld shift them in one go but they were always far too dear. i'm off to queensferry car breakers later on so will report back what its like..............
