Yep, this time it's not the scuttle panel filling up though, drivers side drains nicely and passenger side does a 50/50 drain outside and drain into passenger footwell Seems to have been coming in either the seam of the servo or the join between master cylinder and servo. I will investigate and report back.

Yep, they are like sieves. All the gaskets on the bulkhead and scuttle just fall apart apparently. Mind you, if you want a good water leak, you need a Land Rover.....

Right, Round 2 (or 3).. 10 days have passed, no problems at all until this morning. Same thing happened. *Car was garaged overnight *Driven about 5 miles to feed neddies then about another mile before the pedal went solid again. *I went and swapped it for the Disco and made it about 4 miles before the same thing happened. *Small amount of rain and a few puddles about but not too bad. This is now driving me mad and MonzaNikki won't drive it anymore.. Just to re-cap, Corsa C 1.7DTi (Isuzu) Manual, 150k. This time, I did manage to get some braking effort and it did just feel unservoed, not investigated further yet, just dumped it at work and collected something more fun and seventies. Any more ideas please before we have to buy a new car.

Sounds like a vac problem, are you sure the pipe is not split or crushed, non return valve etc?

Do you have a vacuum guage you could lob on? If not they aren't a lot of money off the bay.
EDIT: Check all the pipes for the EGR system, it's vacuum actuated so if a pipe is completely off, when the EGR solenoid opens you'll lose a lot of vacuum - perhaps remove and block the vacuum pipe that goes to the EGR valve actuating solenoid thing and block the line completely to see if the problem goes away. The "after a few miles" problem does eem like perhaps the EGR is kicking in once the engine is warm.

Not that this helps in any way, but my good ladies Corsa C had horrible brakes too. And that was a petrol (and has since been killed by the new owner)
Same symptoms
