A bloke by our last unit had a jacked up blazer with huge Tyre's and a merc turbo diesel, sounded megga and old mercs fetch nowt. That's the way I'd go, big torquey lazy merc but I fancy a series landy wrapped around a 3liter E class turbo

what about a BMW 330D engine? I wanted to put one of those into an american style truck, Looking at the responses above it seems there are loads of ways to go about it. A certain member on here ( call him " Mr Bond " my secret weapon) sent me the link below and Nicola loved it..... BUT her first response was " Whose gonna build it for us?" www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200860790967?ssPageName=STRKThis has kind of clarified it for me. One can go for a simple crate combo of lets say 350/350 from the USA or make it interresting and take a sensible donor from a variety of modern "V8" powered cars and just add the right set of freeflow headers and pipes to get the right noise at potentially half the cost. I really would like the next car to be a "keeper" so it has to be build for us and what we want and need.

Remember the days when sex was safe and motorsport was dangerous. Vintage bling always attracts pussy.
