I am building a new e21 BMW and installing an M52/2.8 engine. I know that with an M50 inlet manifold it will make 220 brake but I really want to get to 300.
So, what I'm thinking is low pressure turbo set-up so that I can still run a stock engine. If I keep to 7 or 8 psi I am hoping it might be quite a simple install?
Can anyone tell me if this sounds like a workable solution and just how easy / straightforward is this likely to be?
I can get a turbo manifold via eBay but what turbo should I run for minimal lag?
Any help, advice and suggestions would be much appreciated.
