I'm trying to make my mind up on my next purchase, and I've taken a keen liking to Morris Minors! They don't seem to be modified much, more of a 'keep it original' following. Does anyone have any good links to build threads etc? Failing that, slap some pictures up! I'll start

Yes, yes it is. And a damn fine one at that
IIRC it belongs to 'Mother of God' (tho i'm probably confusing it)
What's throwing you is the early 'low light' front panel and wings. I 'think' they lasted a couple of years before switching to the more comonly seen late version with lights in wings

However, he no longer owns it and it was sold to Ad (Heathy12 on here) in early 2009 and now resides just outside Bristol. It's a lovely thing and sounds amazing! Completely irrelevant fact; Ad and 'this' Minor were the first ever visitors to Area 52 and probably the only time I didn't get a photo! Typical.

It looks like I couldn't have been more wrong!
I've got some reading to do by the looks of it - cheers for all the links.
A quick question...with so many models/engine specs, what combo would best be suited for daily use? There's actually 2 or 3 around my area that look to be daily drives.
I understand that brake/servo/alternator upgrades are common, but which engine is hardiest?

Buy the car on body condition! The engine is cheap and easy to repair or swap. The important thing is to get the most solid and rust-free example possible, preferably with decent paintwork so you don't have to waste your money painting it. If you find the right shell, the mechanical stuff is easy to sort out.
