Bit of a thread revival... I have been trying to find someone to do replica Mercedes dealer plates. Tried a few places, including Pukar Designs who does a lot of BMW bits, with no success. Couple of weeks ago, I got pointed to Donegal Signs. Sent him the best image I could find, which was rubbish at best. Today my new plates landed, look great and not expensive either.  |

I don't know if anyone is able to help me track down the dealer window sticker (and any other dealer related stuff!) for Exeter Motors Proton?
The dealership is long gone now, and finding anything much online for them has been a real struggle seeing as they seemed to close up in the early 2000s. If anyone has anything on these guys, I'd be hugely grateful!
Also looking for the dealer window sticker for Elmside Garage, Beckenham, particularly one that makes a feature of being a Skoda specialist.

I always used to remove them at the earliest opportunity, I could never work out why the dealer should get a free advert, then they got crafty an placed the advert behind the perspex on the number plate. ( now a legal requirement).

I've never managed to find a Dealer sticker for Lightfoots Garage Ltd in Carlisle (or even a picture of one) but after talking to a few people who worked there in the 1970s a mate made this one for me.  |

Found this in the glove box of the CROWN Vic...it's a dealer 'sticker' and then some. Duly reinstated with some 3M tape.  |

Cool to see another Chic Doig sticker. My Dads Spitfire came from there. We always pronounce it "Chic Dog" which i'm assuming is wrong.  My Dads Spitfire came from Dundee I think from tracking down the Reg/being a Scottish Car. I think it means it would have been sold by Rossleigh in Dundee? (if I'm right about the reg)... we bought it from a lady in Glasgow who owned it since 1992. The folder that came with the Car has a lot of Chic Doig receipts ... I think it had nearly 20k spent on it in the 90s. Heres an advert for the possible original dealer... not sure if they had stickers.  |

Did you have any luck finding what you were after??!! Also, may I ask what car you have that sports these most wonderful numberplates?! The times I went in that showroom and raided them for brochures during the 80's and 90's!!!! Glorious, wonderful memories! |
