I have no idea of the dealers name I have tried google no luck, it needs someone from the area I think? ill be seeing my mate from the iow next week... ill try and remember to ask him if he knows anything about dealers from way back then...though might be a bit before his time. try frank chiverton , newport. mate is fairly certain that is who you need to be looking at. |

I'm sure there's a 190 somewhere around here with that on the plates, I'll keep a sharp eye out! Here's the original tax disc holder for my Mk1 Golf, supplied new in October 1983:   I've been looking for ages for original dealer sticker / numberplate pics but so far nothing. So for google: Coulthurst and Grimshaw, VW Audi dealer in Wilpshire, Blackburn. If you have anything please get in touch! |

mmmmm..... didnt think about old plates. ill have a rummage and see if any of the ones i have in the garage are wearing dealer logos. i think most will pre-date the trend though.

Cheers A while ago, I found these, they don't have the MB star, so could be post MB dealership:   Having a google round this morning, I found this that has the star either side.  Normand Mercedes one  Anyone know any number plate makers who can replicate the period OE style bottom text? |
