Seth, you’ve reminded me to ring about the Triumph.
The Fury police car lookalike is very much in use – I’d stopped to take a pic of something else and it drove past, looked ace in everyday traffic. Was miffed not to have time to take a picture, only to drive round the corner and see it parking up.
If any of the Sudbury R-R posse want to make enquiries about the Justy van it’s at the old Riddelsdell Bros garage in Boxford. It was closed when I had a poke about there. Might get stepdad to ask as he lives in the village and knows the bloke who runs it now, trouble is he deals in old Porsches and will probably inflate its value if he knows people are keen. As the Mazda has gone it would nicely fill a small hole on my driveway……
JonnySierra, the Mercedes could well be the one you’ve followed around Bury, I’ve only ever seen it parked up though. Looks tidy doesn’t it? As it appears to be a diesel that may account for its slowness? Run it on chip fat, bargain retro motoring! Now I know it’s in occasional use might be worthy of leaving a suitable note?
Love the ‘shopped Sierra Ed!

Knew I had it in a photo somewhere! Once the silver Sierra's gone (hopefully at the weekend, if all goes according to plan), I may have to go check out that Justy. Mrs JS likes it so I'm halfway there!

There used to be a Fed car like that round my way, but with a few subtle changes, i.e jacked up rear end and huge blower sticking through the bonnet, iirc it also had the lights and sirens in situ. Shame haven't seen it recently and never got any pics.
Cool spots all the same, makes me want to go retro hunting. ;D

That would be a 1970 or 1971 Fury III at a first look. Superb. If its ever for sale I need to know. Could be anything from a 318 to a 440 in there from the factory and anything else if its been hacked with. Love the shape of them. Looked at importing a big block '70 Fury GT Coupe from Arizina a couple of years ago. I really should have.

Might be stretching my budget a bit far by the look of it. Still, there's a fairly tidy Justy down the road from me for £350...

Do You know if it used to belong to an old chap in Middleton?....I'm sure he (and that Chevette) was a customer when I worked at Ballingdon Garage in the late '80s/early '90s.
