Car - Toyota Corolla GT (special)
Year - 1986 'C'
Mileage - 96k
Tax - SORN
MOT - Aug 2013
I've owned this for just over a year (my third example), and it's a really nice, clean example, but now circumstances have changed and I can't really afford to have it sat there not doing much. Here's my thread on it:

It's the limited model in metallic black (rarest of them all) and has the correct limited interior. Rot is the number one problem with these cars and in this respect, it's the best one I've owned. Underneath it's mega clean, not the usual scabby mess, it's obviosuly been garaged most of it's life (as it is now). It's had 2 patches let in at the rear of each sill, but done properly, not the usual MOT spec welding, and that's it. Doesn't need any more either. The only other area of rust on the car is slight bubbling in the sunroof panel corner (usually these have completely dissolved!). Windscreen surround totally fine, rear of roof fine, tailgate no rot, wheelarches all fine. Still has the original and correct TWINCAM 16 boot decal that the black ones should have.
No issues with 5th gear. In my ownership it's had a new battery, rebuilt clutch master cylinder (NLA), new NSR handbrake cable, recon OSR caliper, various bits of trim replaced, correct steering wheel fitted, new rear anti-roll bar bushes (gen Toyota). It also has aftermarket electric windows fitted. MOT has no advisories. I've probably done about 500 miles in it, if that!
Bad points - well not many for a 26 year old J hot hatch! The driver's seat has a fair few fag burns in it, but is repairable and a small hole in the side bolster. Ideally it needs a new passenger mirror as it rattles about. The roof would benefit from paint, as the clear coat has lots of tiny holes in it (looks ok until you get up to it). Bonnet has some dents where it's been carelessly shut (dent man could rectify). It wants a better front bumper as the one on it is cracked on the corner. Has the original radio fitted but it's either not connected or doesn't work (never checked).
These are getting rarer every year (now listed as 40 on the road!) and going up in value. This one has none of the problems that they usually have and whilst it's not absolutely mint, it's a very very sound example that with very little effort could be made so (if you can find the parts, but that's part of the fun ;D )
It'll be sold on it's original wheels (all tyres have around 6mm tread) which need a refurb, or you can have the ATSs by seperate negotiation.
any questions, please get in touch!
