I don't actually know what this is, bet someone does tho...  i was wondering why it was being drained for scrap until i went round the front   looks painful - lamppost or telegraph pole I think. shame, cos it was a nice looking little thing. |

Thats a toyota paseo, or an import cynos (import version)
its a little coupe based on a starlet floorpan, with a 90 ish BHP 1500cc engine.
In a way its the effective successor of the gullwing toyota sera, similar concept- very differently executed!

I keep seeing it in ebay ads too and I'd always assumed it was an error but it's use seems more prolific than the word 'dent' these days. Have I gone mad? ;D |

Those cars took 4-wheeled gayness to a whole new level in their day I reckon, and in fact still achieve a competitive reading on the gayometer today.
If there are any left in about 10 years time I might consider owning one, not before that though.

I always took dint to be a small dent.
A mate has a Toyota Sera. Weird car. The rear shelf speakers are motorised so they dance to the music or something bizarre. He also owns an Avantime and a Delorean. Top bloke for odd cars.

Paseos might be bird`s cars, but they're at the nicer end of bird`s cars, I`d be a lot more impressed if mine came home in one of these than the usual folding metal roof job or barbie doll 4x4. And they look suspiciously like the mid `90s Corolla Levin.
