	may 25th update: changed oil - was going to change filter too but my filter tool wouldn't fit so will do that later. Aligned rear hatch pins checked and cleaned alloys - would like some later porsche ones but lack the funds at present. so will use the originals. 2 good P6 tyres and 2 worn out tyres means I only need to replace those 2. checked over the bodywork - really needs a new paintjob as when it was kept under cover (possibly for as long as 6 years), the cover chaffed against the body in some areas . I am hoping that a good tcut will improve this a bit. You can see some fading on the OS front wing and some chaffe marks on the NS rear wing. If i can find the battery, I'll start the task of getting the car running again. Waiting on an exhaust gasket from steve to finish the exhaust system.

June 5th: Well after trying to start, there were 2 fuel leaks to fix, 2 coolant leaks and reattaching the rear of the exhaust, then the engine sort of starts. Bad exhaust leak which i think is the j pipe though. Also engine is way out of timing and is very difficult to rev,.... June 8th Old wastegate pipe had bad fracture which probably occured when I had to remove it to change the manifold Fitted new wastegate pipe I got, although this did need a bit of fettling. After fitted - started engine and she sounded lovely. Good oil pressure, no untoward noises, no smoke and nice idle. Found some nice early 928 rims to put on the car! Update 23rd June 928 rims arrived fitted with 225/50 r16 tyres - fit fine on rear but very close to strut on front. Gonna fit 2 7mm spacers just to give me enough strut clearance. Camber and tracking approximated to make car mobile. Paint on front wings went on OK and has a good finish but is a poor paint match - Giving serious thought to making car 2 tone (silver) on top half of car.... Car moved under own steam for first time in 10 months - so clutch worked and brakes worked! Got a clunk on the steering which I think is a worn steering shaft or UJ connector... Then refit speedo cable, sort horn and check one sidelight that is not working ....!
