Hi guys Just got back from my wee trip to see an old friend living near Alicante, being the sad mofo i am i kept my eyes open for old decrepid cars  retro looking garage  whats this van? it said it was a nissan, but i didnt belive it  pre paint TR7  Renner??  I jumed into the road and stopeed this old chap in his tracks, he looked pretty bemused!  diesel renner 11  battered 2cv  renner  moody shot  505  nova ive never seen before  Mk2 on cups/classics (I'm a retard and can never remember which is which)    This pace (retro-rides) is really strange, i wouldent even consider spending my holidays taking photos of old cars for anywhere else. In fact i wouldent even be thinking about cars, very strange indeed! Cheers J |

Think that van's a Nissan Ebro from the late 80's...
The 505's rare, the only other GTD I've seen for years belongs to my dad :-)
Loving the 'Stang as well.

Ebro ay? Would make for a good scooby doo van i recon! Retro rides is inside me, not too sure how to get it out either! No where else dies it, its not like i thought of the imp club or turbo sport everytime i saw an old / turbocharged car  J |

"I bet the RR boys (and girls!) would love that!" Of course, my digi camera is ancient and takes almost as long to boot up (yes, that's right.. I said boot up) as a PC does. So, most are gone before I can get anywhere. Either that or I don't have the camera on me. |

Cheers Mr Kyteler, I saw the opportunity, but it took about 20 min to get the shot! I has to lie in the road and there were cars coming every 30 seconds, the stretch of curn is about 100m long so the cars also took ages to pass. Worth the wait though J |

Yup, that van's definitely Ebro. Nissan inherited them when they took over what I think was once an old Ford plant in Spain. They date back to the late 70's, and kept going into the 90's. I've seen them in France and Italy. A few got sold here, but not many. They did some bigger stuff too.

Its a very long time since I saw a Renner 6. A mate's mum had one when I was a wee kiddy and it was fairly new car then. I remember seeing plenty of them on holiday in Portugal or Greece etc when younger as well. Lots and lots of them. Wasn;t there a booted version of the same car?
