It maybe a little slow. The 1.8 was ok. Good on fuel too ( when fuel was cheap I got 400miles to £25 )

Not that much to report, train ride down to Portsmouth was uneventful, apart from a lack of toilets at stratford station. Trip back took ages, mainly due to standstill traffic on M25, always a scary time in an unknown car!  Traffic finally cleared, but then I forgot to pay attention an ended of heading down the M26? Finally rejoined the M25, and spotted a brown Allegro keeping up with the rest of the cars.  Got home, washed, hoovered and cleaned car, removed crappy wheel trims, sprayed steels. Got around to taking quick pics today.   |

Didnt know you had a Sierra! haha, the 1.8 isnt too bad actually, must be the 1.6 that so slow. Not sure on fuel though.
Funny how you come down to my area for a car and i recently came up to you for a car! haha

Well, contrary to all advice, I have purchased my new engine.
A 2.0i Twin Cam, which while it is not the favoured choice, it meant it was cheap.
Starting to build it up soon and should have it swapped over in no time.
Then I'll look at suspension, wheels etc.

Sorry about all that swap stuff mate, glad you've still got this. The Twink will be a much better everyday choice than a pinto, better MPG and more power out of the box. I seem (expect for the ride quality) that you and Ben enjoyed driving my old Twink saff? |

Nice looking car!Twin cam engines are very good, definatley overlooked for tuning purposes.Unfortunatley, not too many bolt on stuff available.Have a look here though www.crustworld.co.uk/Their tech section is quite good.Ill try and apply some of that to my GLX once I can get the stupid clutch sorted!  |

Well, I've resurrected my mojo for this car and it is staying put! Today I picked up a pair of 15" Mondeo steels for the back  Tidied up all the wheels  Also painted the grille insert black, to look a little more like a Cosworth one.  Just little things for now, big stuff to come later! |

like it, the twink engines arent bad (one in my saph) looks like a fairly straight car like the Forza sticker too |
