well over the christmas period ive spotted quite a few tasty little cars seen several capri's (all 2.8i) couple of old minis.......an IMP hill climb car.................propper job thing no rear end all caged but it had HILLMAN IMP written across the back which gave it away then....... went to pick my cousins up boxing day thier neighbour has a standard.........sprayed matt black and today i saw a moggy brush painted matt black and an old jag (like the morse one) that had very faded black paint making it distinctly matt black and just for those of you that didnt know, i drive a matt black fiesta so post up some matt cars. and i don't weant to see any of this....

Technically the first one's satin, not matt....the last two are definitely matt tho' Edited as the last two didn't come out...perhaps they were so matt that they were stealth painted ;D

OK, so how does matt black work? Brush on? rattle cans? Is it just a case of flat down and paint?
I've 2 cars here that may become matt black very soon :-)

act 1 If you want to go budget chose a black car and use a scourer from the kitchen use very soapy water and rinse job done... ;D slightly dearer is to follow act 1 dry and mask said car and spray with a spray gun, rattle cans would be more costly IMO but then i have a compressor.....

Look on ebay for NATO paint or MV paint - polyurethane finish designed for brush/roller or spray, goes on like dulux but much better finish. Matt or Satin comes in Black, or 3 different greens!

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
