Yeah, Rinkya, and the other one that I use to view Yahoo auctions in English, ship toys and video games. I need a car specialist really.
I know that they both also struggle with car parts as they're bulky items.

Rinkya won't be any use for a car and have specific regulations about which car parts they will or won't ship. If HotWire has the link still, then the bloke he showed me is the most promising I've seen for buying and shipping other than the usual places that deal with the trade auctions like www.idirect.co.jp. HotWire?

Look, HotWire, Rmad, thanks for the link, and don't take this the wrong way, but he's hardly a bastion of car shipping expertise is he? Has anybody used Tomohiko to ship a car to them? Please don't get curse word off at my lack of enthusiasm for some random Japanses geezer who's made a page saying he can help but has he even considered how he will collect the car from wherever it is, deliver it to the port, supply the paperwork, de-licence it, supply customs docs, drive it cross country, take and transer payment? I'll find a company that can help this week and post a link. Charlie

Your questions are valid (paperwork etc), perhaps he might of answered all of those question via the email address on the link.

Coolio Rmad. I'm going to try Andrew Gray of Power Vehicles (drifetworks Japan importer). But what I really want is a service that is always available so that I know that in future I could bid for something and know what I'd have to pay to get something on a ship and delivered here.
I'll search this week and see what I can turn up. Maybe idirect could turn their hands to Yahoo. Then I can stop bidding on live auctions and not win anything, and turn to selective bidding on Yahoo.

Look, don't take this the wrong way Charlie but three of those links are less relevant than the one HotWire posted and are just what I'd expect if you'd asked Google for an agent rather than a dedicated Retro forum. The fourth link is the chap that KP-nuts told you about on the page before. Nice one. Do you know what? You have a remarkable ability to make me feel like an utter tosser, which I know I'm not, so I think I'll learn my lesson and stop right here.

It's purely friendly banter, just doesn't come across that way on a forum.
The links I posted were a very quick Google search. I'll do some proper research later today and ask around on a couple of J friendly forums and see if Power Vehicles can help.
I'll keep you informed. Looking at the all white 510 SSS BTW.

Thanks Charlie.
Although I try to resist the horrid modernities like txt spk or l33t, I can certainly see an arguement for the use of smilies in cases like this...keep us updated on your search Charlie.
